Overview

Railway Electrical Services were contracted by Amco Rail to carry out works at Ystrad Mynach Station. The works comprised of the removal of the existing redundant over-bridge, the lighting Installation to the new over-bridge, New ticket office lighting, Footbridge handrail lighting, 2 new platforms with static invertor and 2 new lift motor rooms.

RES were tasked with:

• Incoming DNO Electrical Supply
• LV Distribution and Switchgear
• LV Cabling & Containment
• External Lighting Installation
• Emergency Lighting Installation
• Small Power Installation
• Earthing & Bonding
• Test & Commissioning
• Strip-out of Existing Installations
