Service: Junction Lighting Scheme – 66 Lights.

Overview

The increased train frequency on the West Coast Main Line (WCML) greatly reduced the amount of day time access available for Maintenance works on Switch& Crossover (S&C) Junctions. The Junction Lighting scheme saw the installation of trackside lighting at key junctions and locations along the London North West (LNW) WCML route between London Euston and Carlisle.

RES were tasked with;

•Distribution Cabinet fed from the local DNO
•Installation of lighting post bases & troughing
•Installation of Cable Tray
•Installation & Termination of cables
•Testing & Commissioning
