Overview

The scope of works was to provide an approved electrical power design, supply, installation, test & commissioning of the electrical power works required to facilitate the upgrade of the PAVA system.

The works included;

• New control equipment housed within external equipment cabinets
• New high-level containment
• Replacement PAVA cabling
• Replacement speakers on platform and concourse areas
• Provision of ambient noise sensors around the station
• Provision of induction loops around the station
• Provision of Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) system
• Provision of announcer’s microphone
• Interconnection into fire alarm system
• Provision of power supplies for control racks
• Provision of power supplies for induction loops
• Provision of power supplies for Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) system
