Overview

Railway Electrical Services were contracted by Buckingham Group to carry out Electrical and Telecoms works as part of the Ebbw Vale Enhancement Scheme.

We were tasked with the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of;

• Lighting columns, complete with new light fittings, electrical cut-outs and new SWA cabling.
• A GRP Distribution Cubicle complete with new electrical switchgear to control all the new LV power.
• Galvanised trunking to house new LV cabling.
• Wall mounted Design Plan light fittings complete with new secondary CMS.
• Cable to supply the relocate signalling LOC
• Transformer for buffer stop lighting, SWA cables and lights.
• SWA cables for the platform waiting shelter, illuminated station entrance sign, CIS screens and telecoms cabinet power
• Double pole isolators to provide power to the ticket machines
• Equipotential bonding for the waiting shelter, metal fencing, hand rail and location case.
• Installation of CCTV columns, cameras and cables
• Installation of NTI posts and screens
• Installation of Altron cabinets
• Installation of Passenger Help Points
• Terminating and Testing of cables
• Installation of Mass Detector
