Overview

Railway Electrical Services were contracted by BAM Nuttall for the Electrical and SISS comms package as part of the Colonnade to Coastguards Phase 2 at Dawlish. This package of works consisted of two locations, Underside Bridge Lighting and Platforms 1 & 2 including the new Footbridge.

Our scope of works covered the following:

Underside Bridge

  • Replacement of new single phase MCCB in the Resort Hut.
  • Installation of LCC2 and Connection Box (CB1).
  • LED strip lighting and Design Plan luminaires under the bridge.
  • Recover 4 x Design Plan Tuscans which now remain redundant.
  • Recovery of redundant supply to LCC.

Platforms 1 & 2 including new Footbridge.

  • Installation of Distribution Cubicle and supply cable.
  • Single and Three Phase supplies to the Lift Motor Rooms.
  • Platform column lighting.
  • Supplies to CIS.
  • CCTV.
  • PA.
  • New double sided NTI’s and SOD.
  • Installation of comms cabinet outside the LMR on Platform 1.
  • Containment for comms on Platform 2 canopy and new tray along Station Building on Platform 1.
  • Testing and Commissioning.
