Service: New GRP Cubicle & Lighting Installation.

Overview

Railway Electrical Services were contracted by Carillion for the supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the DNO/Distribution cubicle, Lighting Transformer/control cubicle and associated sub-main cabling terminations for the footbridge LED handrail lighting.

Our works consisted of;

  • The removal and disconnection of existing electrical equipment from the DNO cubicle and the removal of the existing metal DNO cubicle off its base.
  • Carrying out a full test and inspection.
  • All cabling for the new footbridge lighting into the Lighting Control Cubicle.
  • Installing new sub-main from the DNO distribution board to the new Lighting Control Cubicle.
  • Installation of the DNO backboard into the new GRP cubicle and re-installing electrical equipment, connecting and testing.
