with new office opening in Scotland

With our continuing success in the Scotland Area we are happy to announce the opening of our Glasgow office.

Our Glasgow office is led by our Division Manager, Derek Riddell. The office will service the Rail Industry across Scotland and the North of England. We will continue the already recognised RES brand and specialist services including Power , Civils & Telecoms support to our existing client base here in Scotland.

The new office will provide Design, Installation & Test/Commission expertise at a local level offering the turnkey solution for multi-disciplinary project support.

RES have successfully delivered some exciting projects in Scotland with the most recent being the Rutherglen & Coatbridge Electrification. Our stations team delivered new platform lighting to the newly extended platforms to allow the safe passenger flow to this new service and installed and tested a new Earthing & Bonding network throughout the entire route, with the complexity of the station areas and interface with other disciplines to create a safe and compliant installation. We also delivered Power solutions to Rail Infrastructure equipment including new Telecoms MPLS Technology, Driver Only Operated Systems & Traction Power Systems.

The new office is an exciting event within the RES community where we will be investing in the recruitment of Apprentices under current schemes across Scotland with the support of Scottish Charitable Training Trust and the introductions of Graduate Engineers in association with IET & IMechE.
