ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, Double Success for Railway Electrical Services

Railway Electrical Services are pleased to announce their certification to the Environmental and Health & Safety Standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, adding to our existing ISO 9001 QMS to give us an overall Integrated Management System.

RES Managing Director Simon Winson commented on the recent certification saying, “We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible customer service and are delighted to announce these certifications, Health & Safety and our responsibility for the impact we have on the Environment are at the core of our business culture and I am delighted that this has been recognised by ISOQAR”.

ISO 14001:2004: specifies requirements for an environmental management system, enabling an organisation to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and environmental aspects. 

BS OHSAS 18001: is intended to help businesses control occupational Health and Safety risks. It is a framework that allows a business to consistently identify and control its Health and Safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents and legal issues, and improve overall performance.
